Red Alert Studios
was started in the Home of
Producer/Musician Shawn Conley and high school
sweetheart and wife, Pam Conley in Memphis, Tennessee,
in 1986 as a means to record his own personal Projects.
With only a 16 track,
Reel-to-Reel Tape Machine and a small mixing console,
the Studio quickly became busy with outside projects.
Shawn began taking on other projects, everything
from video commercials
and voice-overs to custom album projects, and word
quickly circulated the community about his studio and
attention to detail.
Shawn
decided that in order to take the studio to the next
level, he needed to take it to where the music biz was
more active. Having a vision of creating a studio in a
serene, inspiring environment, Shawn began searching for land in
the Nashville area.
In 1995 he located and purchased forty-two sprawling,
previously farmed acres just outside Nashville, in
rural Gallatin, TN. Shawn and Pam picked up and moved, working regular
day jobs to make ends meet while building the studio
from the ground up. A labor of love, the studio took two
years to build. |
